She was born March 27, 1949 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late James Melvin and Iretta (Conley) Penix. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rosetta Fay Ross, a brother, Ed Penix, and a sister, Loretta Evans.
On November 24, 1967 she married Estill Lee Gilliam in Wise County, Virginia and he died May 18, 2000.

| George Kenneth Graham Saturday morning, October 27, 2012 at Carriage Court in Marysville. He was born August 23, 1926 in Marion to the late Earnest Sterling and Mary Ellen (Bevis) Graham.
On September 22, 1951 he married the former Janet Marie James and she died March 26, 2008. He was also preceded in death by a son, Robert James Graham and a brother, Howard Graham and a grandson, Kenneth James Graham, both in 2007.
