On April 21, 1946 she married John Borland at the McKendree United Methodist Church in York Center. He died June 15, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Ruhl; two sisters, Dora Mae Foos and Rosella Parish.

| Richard L. Kale eceded in death by his brother: Delynn Kale in 2009 and his brother-in-law: Dom Liberatore in 2013.
Richard was a 1947 graduate of the Byhalia High School. He was then married on March 18, 1949 at the former Grace Chapel to Helen Marie (Borland), they would have celebrated their 70th anniversary this year in March.
