She was a 1976 graduate of North Union High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University from and MaSter’s Degree from Marygrove College. A true creative spirit, Melinda loved art and music and had taught herself to play guitar. She taught Art at North Union Middle School for 26 years, retiring in 2015.
