John W. Watkins in Agricultural Education.
John spent 16 years teaching at Waldo, Prospect and Elgin schools. In 1967 he became a Vo-Ag Supervisor with the State Department of Education serving schools in northwest Ohio, and retired in 1984. A staunch republican, he served as Marion County Commissioner from 1984-2000.

She was born October 24, 1918 to the late Ernest and Eva Gertrude (Decker) Swartz in Warrensburg, Ohio. In 1962 she married John J. Watkins and they lived in Prospect,Ohio and he died in 1984. Mable was previously married to Phillip A. Daugherty, they lived in Pleasant Twp and he died in 1971.
