Michael Dean Straw

Michael Dean Straw, 67 of Marion, died Friday June 12, 2026 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born August 31, 1958 in Marion to the late Harold H. and Marline (Jones) Straw. He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Steve Jeffers. Mike was an auctioneer. He was an avid hunter and loved to go fishing and camping whenever he could. Mike deeply loved his family, and they will miss him greatly. Surviving is his wife, Edith “Edie” (Allsup) Straw, they were married June 11, 2000 in Kenton, his children, Jamie Straw of New Bloomington, Jeremy Straw of Marion, David (Brittany) Straw of Marion, Anthony Cramer of Marion and Fawn (Johnny) Holsinger of Marion Sisters, Deanna (Larry) Rayburn of New Bloomington, Lora Jeffers of New Bloomington and Amy Straw of Marion 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren Nieces and nephews and extended family Graveside services will be held Tuesday June 16, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Agosta Cemetery. Pastor Tim Pasma will officiate. The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home is assisting the family.
