Jeanette Nicole Cobb
Jeanette Nicole CobbJeanette Nicole Cobb, 42 of LaRue, passed away peacefully at her home on June 9, 2026 surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Jet was a free spirit. She never liked rules and she beat to her own drum. Appointments were a recommended time and with her a one-hour grace period applied. She loved gardening, mushroom hunting and playing in the dirt.
Jet cleaned houses for a living and became friends with many of her clients.

Jeanette had two sons, Gavyn Holmes of Marion and Maddox Yost who lived with her.
She adored her sons very much and loved being with them. Gavyn was her heart and Maddox her soul.

Jeanette was the 3rd of 4 girls, belonging to Judy (Kempton) Cobb of LaRue and Jeff Cobb, her father preceded her in death one year ago.
Her sisters, Jessica (Seth) Miller, Jonda (BJ) Smith and Jodi Cobb, all of LaRue
Nieces, Callie (Alfonso) Miller, Kirsten Miller, Reagan Smith and Larissa Sowell, Nephews, Cameron (Josi) Miller, Brock and Grayson Smith and her very special nephews whom she considered her boys, Kane and Mason Sowell
Great nephew, Baylor Miller
Special friend, Emily Fisher Culver, who helped the family by giving her time, visits and support during this difficult time.
Jet was a hero and warrior to many through the 2 ½ years of battling cancer. She has been a strong force and fought till the end. She will be forever missed.

A link is missing in the family chain.

Services celebrating her life will be held Tuesday June 16, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Friends may call 3 hours before the service at the funeral home in Richwood. Rev. Barbara Jean Pope will officiate.

I’m very saddened to hear of Jeanette’s passing and my sincerest condolences go out to Judy, the Cobb sisters, and Jeanette’s sons. Jeanette was always full of spunky energy and I’m not surprised that she defied doctor’s expectations and gave cancer a valiant fight. I have many fond memories with Jeanette from growing up, sleepovers, and all our time in school together but her smile and laughter stand out from them all. Judy, I’m sorry that I may or may not have forged your signature in high school a few times for her! ;)  May the Lord draw you close to Him in your grief and may you find comfort in the knowledge that she is remembered by many.

When Jett came into our lives was a God send she was amazing in her passion of keeping a home clean when done every room smelled so good.we were more than client to us she would stop at bakery for a sweet snack. She started when was in a deep clean she climbed her ladder took down my plate display I wash and dried them up that ladder she put the display. Spring came and what a green thumb my flower beds were over hauled what can I say never believe she would be gone to work in Gods flower garden down by River of Life. She ask lots questions about after death which way was best way to be buried and she ask for help in dealing with difficult circumstances. The one Constance in her life was her sons especially baby Maddox and when she came to work in flowers he help her or played in little red wagon I gave him  so many times I had to remind her the only family you are responsible for your boys and yourself and don’t talk back or misspeak to your Dad he would call inviting bring baby come visit but she was a very gifted person day came she needed a Savior too sick too work Ilead her to accept Jesus in her life and today I trust she made her journey to keep her Dad Company in a visit for rest of family love Peggy Hawkins

Jeanette was such a beautiful and strong lady, the last time I seen her was at the mall in LaRue. Her spirits were so high when she was telling me about her illness. I was definitely team Jet after that and I really thought she would pull through with her positivity. Sorry for your loss Cobb family.
