  Thomas Charles Le Masters, of Silver Spring, MD died March 23, 2024 in Washington, DC. Born May 31, 1948 in Buffalo, NY to the late Charles and Natalie Le Masters. He grew up in Erie, PA.
Tom attended Pennsylvania State University where he received his degree in architecture. He used his space planning skills to design modular office space and was one of the first in the country to use this flexible workplace design, designing short-term office space for a large software employer in Virginia. The company had government contracts all over the country so his position required a lot travel. Because he began to dislike being away from home, he left that employer, went out on his own with a partner and started a space planning firm located in Washington DC. He was a partner there until he suffered an aneurysm and stroke in 1989, forcing him to retire. Despite his physical damage from the stroke, Tom maintained a positive attitude and enjoyed reading, especially mysteries, watching old movies and tv shows and keeping in touch with friends and relatives on the phone. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Le Masters. Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 18, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Pastor Joseph Rhea will officiate. Burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery.
