Etta JoAnn Watterson
Etta JoAnn WattersonRed Rose2Etta JoAnn Watterson, 79 of Richwood, was called home to join her family on Tuesday morning, June 5, 2018.

She was born March 19, 1939 in Piqua to the late Clarence A. and Mary E. (Karnehm) Rupert. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Alice Purk, brothers, Kenneth, Jerry and Robert Rupert and a nephew, Tracy Rupert.

She was a member of the Baptist Church in Tipp City Ohio. Her greatest treasure in life was her family. She had an infectious smile and loved giving hugs. It didn't matter where JoAnn was or what she was doing, she always had one of her children/grandchildren/great grandchildren with her.

She enjoyed doing crafts, going to stock car races to watch her brother and brother in law.  She loved watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren in all their many activities and enjoyed eating out with friends. Her family always came first.

She is survived by her four daughters, Kay (Jim) Walters, Richwood; Carissa (Steve) Davis, Richwood; Carie (Tom) Cremeans, Centerburg, Corey (Greg) Hamburger, West Mansfield; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren and she loved each and every one with all her heart.

Funeral services will be Friday June 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery, Pastor Ken Mosser will officiate. Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home in Richwood

Memorial gifts may be made to the Richwood Area Park at 153 N. Franklin St. Richwood, Ohio 43344
