Nancy Jean (Gillespie) Jamison
Nancy Jean (Gillespie) JamisonRed Rose2Nancy Jean (Gillespie) Jamison, 74, of Sebring. Florida, went to be with the angels on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017. She passed following a very brief illness surrounded by her loved ones. Those that couldn't be with her made brief phone calls to let her know how much she was loved and will be greatly missed.

She was born April 17, 1943 in Price Hill, West Virginia to the late Howard and Della (Hinkle) Gillespie. She married Melvin Jamison, who survives, on April 17, 1959. They were married for 58 years and their union produced four children that were her life.
She went to be with her eldest child, Allen Edward, who died in 1986.

She is survived by three children, Carolyn (Eddie) Fulford of Sebring, Steve (Lynnell) Jamison of Marion, and Daniel Jamison of Marion. She will be missed by her grandchildren, who will especially miss her butt dials; Melvin Joseph (Joe) Jamison of Colorado Springs. Colorado. Sarinnia Jamison of Richwood, Michael Gonzalez of Sebring, Dustin Gonzalez of Bowling Green, Stormie Jamison (Cody Menach) of Marion and Alexis Jamison of Marion. She is survived by her sister, Carol Sue (Dennis) Belt of Cadiz, Kentucky; sisters-in-law, Linda Lockwood of Sebring, Florida, Peggy Jamison of Richwood and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Jamison of Richwood. Also surviving are her many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnn Cassell and brothers-in-law, Earl Cassell and Ernest Jamison.

She was known for her smile and friendliness while working as a door greeter for Wal-Mart in Avon Park. Her children and grandchildren will most miss her constant love and support, her mischievousness and the love that she showed them all.

As a gift to the world, she donated her body to science for hope of finding a cure for lupus and her many other conditions.

Graveside services will be Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Claibourne Cemetery with Pastor David Hudson officiating.
