She was a smile she was warm and inviting she was a hug and she touched many hearts and lives. She will be missed but we will meet again and can’t wait to see her.

Joan was my neighbor here in Prospect. So sad to hear the news when I came home Sunday from arranging my own mothers funeral, when Dick broke the news to my husband and I. Joan was a beautiful lady with a heart of gold. My prayers and thoughts go out to the whole family. Yes, she absolutely loved her flowers. She definitely will be missed. I am here for you Dick. You know if you need anything,, I am right next door.

My deepest sympathies to all. May God's grace wash over you and may He give you strength in this harshest of times in one's life. One of the hardest paths in life is when we begin the rest of our journey without a wife and mother alongside of us. Joan was wonderful as both. May she now begin to enjoy the remainder of life's journey with our Lord. My prayers are with you.

I have fond memories of Joan as my 3rd grade teacher and a very good friend of my mother. She made a positive impact on a lot of people’s lives both as a teacher and a friend. She will be missed!
