To ALL of Ruby's family, I was saddened to hear of Ruby's passing. I got to know Ruby through the many Church dinners that we worked. She loved doing the dishes and organizing the kitchen. I never once heard her complain about anything. She also adopted my mother and called her "Mom". This world lost an Angel, but Heaven gained one. I am so sorry. My thoughts and prayers to the family.

So sorry for your loss! Ruby hired me to work with her in Classified Contract at Peoria Journal Star in 1998 and I worked with her over 10 years. I couldn't have asked for a better supervisor and fondly remember my time working with her. Jon I'm so sorry. Time is just too short. I met you during your dad's funeral and will add my prayers for Ruby.

Many happy and sad times with my 2nd cousin Ruby. I think we rode out bikes about 1000 miles back and forth to the pool in Prospect, Bob-sledding, ice skating, shooting the loop in Marion, playing cards, pounding on the piano and riding the bus everyday & etc.  You will be missed. Cousin Becky

To Ruby's family. My condolences to all of you. I did not know Ruby long. We worked church dinners together and she started going out on Monday's for dinner with me and our group of ladies. I really enjoyed talking to Ruby. She was such an upbeat, positive person. We talked about many things, including how much she loved her family and how proud she was of her son.
I'm really going to miss her but I know she is with Jesus now.
