Dan and girls, you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.  Chris always was so good to me while I worked at Raymond, always such a great friend.  Will never forget all our laughter we shared and the "desk checks" she had me do for her students.  She had a heart of gold and will be missed.

Dear Erwin Family,

I am sorry to hear of Cris's passing.  I remember her fondly from Raymond Elementary in the 1970's, only I knew her as Miss Szczepanski!  I remember during spelling tests, she would give us bonus points if we spelled her name correctly, which I always did!!
I wish you all peace and God's love.

My memory going to Raymond Elementary is that she was one of my best, teachers. I believe it was third grade, an she was new teacher to the school very young possibly in early twenties with long hair. There use to be as a skating ring in a old building next to the school. Kids would go there to skate, an she would also come on occasional Friday night to skate too. Great teacher to be in her class. Great child hood memory too. May some day the family finds some type of comfort to give some healing to their hearts. Sorry for this early lost.

Sorry I can not share my condolences in person but wanted you to know that I am praying for your family.  I taught at Edgewood while Cris was at Raymond and I have many fond memories of conversations with her. I also have a picture in my mind of her grade book and all the detailed records that she kept.   My son was a student  in her classroom  and I know that she made each one of her students feel special.  She left a lasting mark at Raymond Elementary.
