George L. Earhart
George L. EarhartFlagGeorge L. Earhart 85 of Richwood, died Thursday afternoon November 3, 2016 at the Milcrest Nursing Home in Marysville.

He was born April 24, 1931 in Marion to the late Earl Wildig and Mildred Richardson, he was also predeceased by one son: Raymond Earhart and one daughter: Linda Harper.

George was a veteran of the Marine Corps, was retired from Goodyear in Marysville, where he worked for 20 yrs., he had previously worked with his father in law, Raymond Gay Sr. doing Construction and moving houses in Marion, he had also worked for Marion Bronze and Brass and Rex Welding

George enjoyed hunting, tinkering with cars and bowling

On April 8, 1950 in Marion he married Florence Gay and she died November 29, 2009, surviving is his daughter: Mildred (Lester) Hall of Richwood, grandchildren: Jesse James Simpkins, Amber Marie (Chuck) Ramey and Mark Anthony (Stephanie) Hall
Great grandchildren: Chuckie and Halee Ramey
Numerous step brothers and sisters

Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 9, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Pastor Joe Rhea will officiate, followed by military honors conducted by the Richwood Area Veterans, burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery, friends may call Tuesday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home in Richwood

Memorial gifts may be made to the Hospice organization of the donors choosing
