Damon J. Armstrong
Damon J. ArmstrongHarnessRacingDamon J. Armstrong 71 of Marion, died early Sunday morning October 23, 2016 at Heartland of Marion.

He was born January 30, 1945 in Massillon to the late Charles and Pearl (Bondy) Armstrong, he was also predeceased by one brother and five sisters.

Damon was retired from the Nestle Company in Sunbury, member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Marion and enjoyed going to horse races. He loved and cherished his new extended family and friends.

Surviving is his wife, Faye Ellen (Whited) Sweeney Armstrong, they were married in 2005 and she survives in Marion, also surviving is his stepdaughters: April (Steven) Bash, Carlisle, Pa., Shannon (Joe) McKay, Fisher, Indiana and Heather (Rich) Bruen, Marion, one sister: Linda (Eddie) Roshon, Sunbury, two brothers: LeRoy (Linda) Armstrong, Sebring, Florida and Clyde (Bonnie) Armstrong, Apple Valley and five grandchildren

Memorial services for Damon will be held Saturday November 5, 2016 at 4:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall in Marion, Jim Bright will officiate, burial with his family will take place at a later date in the Eastview Cemetery in Centerburg

The family would like to thank Heartland of Marion for their care of Damon, especially Donna and Angel

Memorial gifts may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 2654 Harding Hwy E. Marion, OH 43302
