I did not know John well but he was a familiar face when I visited my mother Abbie Hamilton Shark at the civic center. He never failed to smile and speak. He will be missed. My condolences to the family.

We sympathize with Johnny's family.  He was a quiet man with a quick smile.  We will miss visiting with him at the ballpark.

Uncle Johnny, was a fun loving man who always picked on me, when I'd be with my grandma ( his sister) he would always put a smile on my face, even though after grandmas passing I didn't keep up with him very well,I always did think of him.  He will be missed and now he is up there with grandma picking on her.

There was only one Uncle Johnny. He was like a brother to us and an Uncle to our children. He was good to our kids and always supported them in sports and life in general. You could always depend on him being at the games!  There are so many stories we could share about sharing our lives with John. He called us by his own funny names because he could not pronounce our real names right and we still laugh about that today... From his funny sayings to his calm demeanor he will never be replaced in our heart's and always remain a part of our lives.  Rest easy John..dialysis is over and God needs you now.  We hope you see the ball drop in heaven ;) we love you! Roy, Renetta, Ronatta, Rheann and Alecia.
