I have fond memories of Dorothy and I driving many miles together to Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.  We, with our husbands, also enjoyed the company of other central Ohio educators as members of KDP, for many years.
It is certainly true that her family and her church were very important to her.
God certainly has taken her to rest in peace.

I certainly enjoyed visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Schurch.  They would share about their travels, their children and their grandchildren.  May God wrap his loving arms around the family.

Growing up in Essex and attending Jackson Elementary, I visited the Church family home. I had play date invites with Cindy and when my mother helped Mrs. Church with housekeeping, I would also go along at times.  I so remember her cookies, her smile, her kindness to my mother and her attention to me.....  I was just a kid though I felt pretty important around her...she spoke of my doing well in school and helping my mother...I will remember Mrs. Church, a gem and a gift to us....may the memories of your mother give you peace ...
