Dennis Kinikin
Dennis KinikinFlagDennis Kinikin, 61 of Richwood, died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with ALS.  He was born February 21, 1954 in Kenton to the late Otis and Mary (Sherwood) Kinikin.

On November 28, 1972 he married the former Betty A. Johnson and she survives in Richwood.

He was an avid reader, he also loved watching and recording movies and being on Facebook.  Dennis was dedicated to giving blood with the Red Cross and had donated as often as he was able since he was first eligible to be a donor.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.  Dennis was a genealogy freak, always digging into family history.  When he was able, he enjoyed walking.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael Shane (Julie) Kinikin, Elgin, Illiniois; John (Abbie) Kinikin, Delaware; a daughter, Stephanie (Cully) Vogt, Richwood; fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a sister Terri (Wade) Bowen, Columbus.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Dennis Peters officiating.  Military honors will be provided by the Richwood Area Veterans.  Friends may call two hours prior to the service beginning at 9:00 AM.

Memorial gifts may be made to Fulton Creek Friends Church, 10950 Fulton Creek Road, Richwood, OH 43344 or ALS Association (www.alsa.org)

My greatest sympathy. My husband John J Kinikin passed 3008 (ALS).
I would like to make connections and learn more history about the Kinikin’s.
Blessings,
Margie
