Eva W. Millisor
Eva W. MillisorYellowRoseEva W. Millisor 89 of Marion formerly of Big Island died peacefully Friday morning September 25, 2015 at the Heartland of Marion, where she had been residing for the last five years, Eva and her family were very comforted by the care and compassion she received while at Heartland.

She was born November 5, 1925 in Morral to the late Jesse Benton and Elva (Bonham) Danner, she was also predeceased by her husband Richard E. Millisor, they were married August 2, 1952 and he died February 26, 2007, also preceded in death by her son Rod Millisor in 1998 and siblings: Ralph, Robert and Jr. Danner, Thelma Nichols, Laverne Johnson and Virginia Robinson.

Eva made her family and faith the core of her life. She was a great cook and baker, often telling us the meal should start with dessert, not end with it. In her later years she did just that.

After retirement, Eva and Dick enjoyed over 20 winters in Sarasota and away from the snow.

She was a longtime dedicated member of the Meeker United Methodist Church.

Eva is survived by her loving family: daughters, Lisa (Monica Arboleda Giraldo) Millisor, Atlanta, GA and Karen (Larry) Strickland, Morral, Grandchildren: Rob, Mike and Chad (Missy Pierce) Stallsmith, Manuela Arboleda Giraldo, Brie Strickland, Jill Rockefeller, Jodi (Justin) Wall and Jena (Steve) Koch

Nine Great Grandchildren: Jagger, Jocelyn and Jordan Wall, McKenna Rockefeller, Jake, Shelby, Brock, Brooklyn, Hunter Stallsmith and one Great-Great Grandson: Ja’ Tayveon

Two brothers: Richard (Jackie) Danner, Morral and Clifford (Brenda) Danner, Columbus
