Friday nights will not be the same.  We'll miss Chuck and all of the things that he did for the program.  He cared about the kids of Richwood and North Union athletics.  Win, lose, draw.  Football, basketball, baseball.  Chuck was always there.  Our condolences.

Such a fine man and great role model for all youth in our community.  As a little league baseball coach, not only did he teach the boys the game, but how to be a good and honest person in life!  I am so blessed that he coached my son. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed.

We will miss seeing Chuck around! I always had a good time cracking jokes with him & Fergie during games.  When I was having shoulder issues and I would be out mowing, he would stop and see if I would need help lifting the can of gas for the mower..and on Fridays you would find Chuck at the REAP pantry lending a hand...Our thoughts and prayers to the family, friends and the youth in our community!

I'm so sorry for your loss.  Chuck was such as supporter of North Union athletics. It always impressed me of his faithfulness to attend a majority of the sporting events. I would often run into him at subway and our conversations would always steer towards the game that just took place or the one that was just around the corner. Chuck was invested in the youth athletics of Richwood. There will be an empty spot on the sideline this year for sure. In our prayers

We are so sorry to here the passing of Chuck Or as my kids called him...Big Chuck. We have known him for many years. He was my boys baseball coach and I was on the sideline with Chuck for the past 15 years. In all the time I have known him, I never heard him put a kid down. He treated them with respect and if they got in trouble, he would take them under his wing to be a mentor. I am going to miss all the talks we had waiting for the game to start. He will be missed by all. You are in our thoughts and our prayers.

I will miss seeing Chuck at the Civic Center, but his absence will be greatly noted at the football games. He never missed greeting me or my husband with a comment about one of our boys and how they were doing with football. He must of had insider info because one evening he said hey "make sure that number 11 keeps his grades up!" He was a good man and his spirit will always be felt on that NU football field.
