Working with Ruth for the few years I did, I became very fond of her as she reminded me of my own Grandmother. My favorite memory was when I walked around the corner and found her struggling with a large, obviously heavy box. When I hurried over to help her with it when she stumbled and began to fall, in doing so throwing the box at me. I began to panic, because with the box between us I would be unable to catch her before she hit the floor. But when the box hit me, it was empty. It was then I realized she had been waiting for me to come around the corner just so she could play this prank. I laughed so hard that day because I had been bested by an sweet, little old lady. I always adored Ruth and she will be missed.
