I remember Joyce and Louie when they used to visit our church [Fulton Creek Friends]. A couple kind to each other and to those they met.   Louie always seemed out-of-balance after Joyce went home.  I mean I was used to seeing them together and it didn't seem right Louie being alone.  I know the reunion in heaven is sweet and joyful.  May God's blessings be on the family.

May Louie's family rest knowing he lived a full satisfying life. After graduating from high school in the spring of 1949, Bob Blue, Louie, and my brother, Glenn joined the Marines the same day the following autumn. They were separated shortly thereafter but remained friends always. My brother, who lives far across the continent, is now the only one left. I know he will be saddened to hear of Louie's passing.

I was very sorry to hear of Lou passing. I worked with Lou at Luvata and would see him daily at break. I would tease him about bringing a banana everyday as a snack. Lou was a very nice man and will be sorely missed.

Thoughts & prayers to his family.
