Dearest Fannie - we had some good times and made some memories - I know you will miss Paul so much.  Living in Florida I don't get to visit with old friends but that does not mean I have forgotten old friends.

Paul has lived a long and eventful life with caring family and friends since he was young.  Having lived in the Jackson Township community I have known much of his family most all my life.  He was one of my Aunt Ruby's classmates in Essex and Richwood.  His sister, JoAnn, is near my age and primarily through her, I knew his mother, whom I especially remember as a chaperone at church camp.  To this day I remember how Daisy instructed us kids how to do dishes properly at camp.  They were spic and span when we got done.
Later I had some of Paul and Fannie's grandchildren as students. The Hoffmans have been a well known active family in our community for many years.
You will have many cherished memories that will last as long as you live and if you have an historian among you these memories will last forever.
  Blessings,  Becky Blue George

Our condolences with the loss of Paul. I will always remember him as a man very full of life with a spark and energy that defied his age. I can remember socials in the basement at Essex Church where Paul would either be in the middle of telling a story or very interested in the story that my father was telling.  I will remember his smile and that look in his eye when he was trying to pull a "fast one" on you.  He was a great man and we are all better for having known him. My prayers are with all of the family as you deal with the loss of Paul.

Pat, my sympathy to your and your family on the passing of your father.  Your father lived a long and very active life.  His community involvement in our school and other clubs shows how he cared about making Essex and Richwood a great place to live.

At this difficult time of year to lose a loved one, cherish the memories of Christmas' past as you gather as a family.

I wasn't able to come to calling hours but you and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers.
