My heart is filled with sadness at your loss of Linda, she will be missed terribly. Throughout the years I have valued her friendship. Linda was a giver , never a taker, she was always there to help no matter how busy she was and never asking or needing anything in return. Friends like Linda are few in life and it is with a heavy heart I also grieve your loss.
                          With love & sympathy
                                 Pam

I don't know who wrote the following, but I thought it may bring you some comfort:

"God saw her getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around her and whispered "come with me." With tearful eyes you watched her, and saw her pass away. Although you loved her dearly you could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best."
