 Susan Kathryn McElheny, age 64, of Marion, died Sunday December 14, 2008 at 1:10 PM at Marion General Hospital.
She was born December 25, 1943 in Kenton, Ohio to T. Rowland and Kathryn (Wood) McElheny and they live in Marion.
She is survived by one daughter; Katrina Maria Thomas of Marion, three Grandchildren; Tiffany Maria Stansberry, Dani Marie Morehouse and Timothy Daniel Morehouse. One brother; T. R. (Susan) McElheny Jr. Three nieces; Shawn A. McElheny, Brenna Colleen McElheny, and Bridget A. Wiseman. Many Cousins and close friends.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday December 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the LaRue Cemetery. Russell Howard will officiate. There will be no calling hours.
The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home at LaRue is in charge of arrangements.
Those who wish may make contributions to Turning Point in Marion or the Salvation Army.

I was so saddened to read of Susan's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Life is just too short. It seems like yesterday that Susan was playing at the Legion Hall with me while our parents attended American Legion Meetings. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry to hear of Susan's passing away.
I am sure that she was looking forward to Christmas and her 65 birthday. We shared the same month of our birthdays as mine was 12-14-43.
She will be missed alot by family and all her friends and classmates of 1961. I will will be
praying for all of you her miss her. Myron

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. From what I remember and heard Susan was always there for Katrina and Tiffany. A devoted mom and grandmother. I am sure she will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Sincerely, Connie and Lynn
