Dear Darrell and Janet,
It was with so much sadness that we read in the online version of the Marion Star that you had lost Darrell. What an amazing and talented young man he has always been. It can certainly be said of him that "He made the most of a very good life." The two of you have done a marvelous job in parenting all your special kids. We send you our love and our sympathy.

It is a testament to the love and support of all your family that Darrell lived the life he did. I am so sorry for your loss, but am so happy that you were able to give him peace before he began to suffer too much and allow your love for him to be more important than the pain you knew you would feel at his passing. Thank you for allowing me to take part in his care, and I hope I was able to help you in some small way when he left this life. Take care of each other and God Bless all your family.

We received word of Punk's passing late Sunday night, and wanted to pass on our sympathies to the family. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Punk was a wonderful person, so caring and full of life. We have missed seeing all of you. Your memories will continue to live in your hearts and keep you close to him.
