Lilah Marion Johnson

Former Prospect resident. Lilah Marion Johnson, age 95 died Tuesday. March 8, 1994 at the Sunny Vee nursing home in Delaware. She had been in failing health for two years. She was born Feb. 4. 1899. the daughter of the late William A. and Elvira Parish Everett. In 1918 she married Edward C. Johnson, who preceded her in death Jan. 17. 1945. Surviving are three daughters. Betsy Hoover. Hilliard; Lois G. Thrush. Radnor; and Anna B. Moore. Jasper, GA: one son, David of Prospect. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 23 greatgrandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. A son. three brothers and one sister are deceased. Funeral services were held Friday. March 11 at the Gehm- Ballinger-Peppard Funeral Home in Prospect, with Rev. Jeffrey Jewell officiating. Interment was at the Prospect Cemetery. Memorial contributions mav be made to the American Heart Association.
