| Sandy Kay Chevalier, 53, of Prospect died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, after a two-and-a-half year illness.
 She was a registered nurse who worked at the North Central Correctional
 Institution in Marion and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in
 Prospect.
 She was born Aug. 22,1945, in Painesville, Ky., to Russell E. and Clara E.
 Branham Blanton and was preceded in death by her father and a grandson,
 Clayton Hughes.
 She is survived by her mother of Marion; a daughter, Chris Hughes of
 Prospect; a son, Scott Chevalier of Marion; an adopted son, Andy Mueller of
 Dover, Del.; four grandchildren, Josie, Jamee and Angel Chevalier and
 Amanda Hughes; two sisters, Char McKinney of Marion and Connie Sedlock-
 Lingrei of Mount Victory; a brother, Mike Blanton of Tampa, Fla.; and
 her long-time companion, Stanley Seiter.
 Funeral sen-ices will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran
 Church in Prospect. The Rev. Stephen S. Bull will officiate and burial will be
 at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m today
 at the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect.
 Memorial contributions may be made to The National Alliance to Conquer
 Cancer.
