Jane Cowgill
Jane Cowgill, 77 died Friday, Feb. 20, 1998, at the Masonic Village in Springfield where she and her husband had been living for the past eight  months.
She had been, a resident of Richwood for 15 years and prior to that resi dent of Upper Arlington for 30 years. She was a registered pharmacist and had worked for various pharmacies throughout Columbus. She was a graduate of Magnetic Springs High School and in 1942, graduated from The Ohio State University School of Pharmacy.
She was a member of the Richwood First United Methodist Church and a former member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Upper Arlington. She was also a member of the OSU Pharmacy Club, Richwood Civic Center, Union County Century Club and Union County Republican Women and OSU Alumni Association. She liked to play bridge, canasta and golf.
She was bom Feb. 14, 1921, in Washington, D.C., to the late Howard Foster and Edna Elsie Gibbs Anders and was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Hoffman.
' She is survived by her husband, Paul E. Cowgill whom she married Sept. 27, 1942, in Columbus; two sons, Jeffrey (Sharon) Cowgill Sr. of Enon and Gregory (Sarah) Cowgill of Fairfax, Va.; two grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Tingley of Springfield and Jeffrey Cowgill Jr. of Enon; two sisters, Marjorie Moon of Delaware and Mary (Cecil) Smith of Gainesville, Fla. and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Joseph Rhea will officiate and burial will be at the Price Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
