Lowell L. McWade
LARUE — Lowell L. McWade. age 84, of Windfall Road, LaRue. Ohio, died Sunday, Dec. 12,1999, at 12:35 p.m. at Marion Manor in Marion, Ohio.
He was born Dec. 16, 1914, in Mount Victory, Ohio, to the late William Jacob and Otta (Love) McWade.
On April 13, 1945, he married Mary Frances Mawer, and she died July 23,1993.
He was a self-employed farmer and for some years he was a salesman for Omar Bakery, Marion, Ohio. He was a World War II Army veteran serving in the African theater, member of the William Britton Post 6827 VFW of Mount Victory, Ohio. He attended the LaRue United Methodist Church, past president of the NFO, member of the Knights of Pythias of Essex, Ohio, member of the Wyandot Campers Club.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Sharon (David) Hutchinson of LaRue, Ohio, Mrs. Louise (Ed) Rieke of Marion, Ohio, and Mrs. Debra (Blaine) Baker of Tulsa, Okla; one sister, Mary Margaret Livingston of Richwood, Ohio; six grandchildren, Megan and Gwen Hutchinson of LaRue, Kim and Mark Tevis of Marion, and Jody and Kedrick Baker of Tulsa. One sister, Lenora Sullivan, is deceased.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1999 at 2 p.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue, Ohio. Minister will be the Rev. Darlene Weidner, liturgist Megan Hutchinson. Burial in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today. Those who wish may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be Kedrick Baker, Mark Tevis, Blaine Baker, Dave Hutchinson, Ed Rieke, Charles Whitman and Robert Whitman.
